PAINT BOOTH ASSISTANT
To meet the needs of our growth we are seeking to add a PAINT BOOTH ASSISTANT to our team. We employ leading edge technology in our high-performance paint booth focusing on employee well being and product quality.
The PAINT BOOTH ASSISTANT will work with the Paint Booth Operator to maximize our paint production efficiency. Duties include, but will not be limited to:

- Clean, sand and prep products prior to painting
- Mix and thin paint or other coating to specified consistency according to standard formulas
- Spray specified amount of thickness of primer, protective or finish coatings onto prepared surfaces using spray equipment
- Regulate controls on equipment to efficiently cure and dry paint
- Ensure high level of cleanliness and quality
- Clean guns and paint booth
- Work in a timely manner, in accordance with production schedule
- Utilize quality control measures
- Ensure housekeeping requirements are being met in the booth and paint kitchen, including change-out of filters
- Accurately record time and materials into our ERP software per job
- Follow all health and safety policies and procedures.
- Must comply with a wide variety of regulatory requirements including hazardous materials, spray booth/equipment standards, personal safety, fire safety and air quality
- Complete your annual Air Intake test, as required, by law
- Cross train with the assembly department to facilitate occasional requirement to assist with absences, vacation times, or production spikes.
We offer an opportunity to develop and improve skills and knowledge in the craft of paint application we are seeking the successful candidate to bring the following to the role:

- A minimum of one (1) year metal finishing and industrial spray-painting experience
- Familiar with standardized paint mix processes and colour matching
- Ability to read and comprehend work orders and renderings
- Ability to adapt and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Passion for quality and efficient work practices
- Ability to work independently, with little or no supervision.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment while demonstrating exceptional quality.
- A proven track record of quality related painting experience.
This is a full-time permanent position supporting the Paint Booth Operator and reporting to the Production Manager. While the position is primarily a day shift role, start time may vary slightly to optimize Paint Booth capacity.

SHIPPER/RECEIVER
As we expand our warehouse and business model, we require an experienced SHIPPER/RECEIVER operator to work with our Materials Co-ordinator. Key responsibilities include:

- Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoice, packing slips and purchase orders
- Record shortages and reject damaged goods, as per established procedures
- Ensure trucks/trailers are loaded or ready to be loaded for the next day/project
- Stock and stage various departments within the plant
- Use forklift to load/unload trucks and trailers and store material where required
- Package service and warranty parts neatly and securely for shipment
- Perform multiple tasks accurately within time-sensitive deadlines
- The ability to periodically assist with assembly and paint prep would be an asset
- Perform occasional errands outside of the plant to pick up or deliver materials
- Cross train to fill in occasionally for the Materials Co-ordinator
- Receive Parts in our ERP system
To ensure suitability for completing the above the successful candidate will be experienced in the following:

- Forklift Certification and minimum 3 years’ experience (company will re-certify)
- Overhead fixed crane/hoist experience an asset
- Familiar with flatbed loads and securement
- Experienced in moving large and irregular shaped loads
- Ability to receive and carry out written and verbal instructions
- Familiarity with ERP systems
- Ability to multi-task throughout the workday
- Ability to interact and work well with others and under minimal supervision
This is a full-time permanent position under the supervision of the Materials Co-ordinator and reporting to the Production Manager. Schedule will be days with occasional Saturday overtime.

VINYL GRAPHICS APPLICATOR
To meet the needs of our growth we are seeking to add a VINYL GRAPHICS APPLICATOR to our team. We employ leading edge technology including a Sign Lab Vinyl Plotter, GraphTech Cutter, and Roll Over Laminator.
The VINYL GRAPHICS APPLICATOR will:

- Assess and plan work required for each day
- Construct files and operate plotter to cut vinyl and installation patterns, as required
- Accurately and efficiently apply vinyl to various substrates
- Operate leading-edge vinyl application technology including Rollover Vinyl Laminator
- Load and unload substrates on to and off of workstation
- Maintain quality control for all vinyl on signage
- Maintain equipment and cleanliness of the work area
- Work independently, with minimal supervision
- Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures in place
- Monitor vinyl-related inventory and prepare purchase requisitions as required
- Provide technical support and on-the-job training to new employees
- Record production data in our ERP system
Previous experience in vinyl application within the sign industry is an asset along with the following:

- Experience with 3M vinyl film application an asset
- Computer graphics knowledge, such as SignLab, would be a strong asset
- Familiarity with basic computer data entry for production labour/material entry
- Great attention to detail and accuracy
- Must have basic English language and math skills
- Good time-management skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Self-motivated and self-managing
- Be adaptable and enthusiastic when challenges arise and during reprioritized production schedules
- Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
- Dexterity and precise manipulation of vinyl on substrates
- Strong hand/eye coordination
